Teething...still

we are drowning in snot and drool these days...I hope this means that a tooth will be appearing soon because we are constantly wiping her face. She has also started puking again but since I haven't had caffeine lately I am guessing it is from the huge amounts of spit she is swallowing.

A couple of weeks ago Lyla either had a nasty growth spurt, turned 5 months old and decided she was to good for sleep or just needed some more in her diet so we started rice cereal. The doc gave us the ok since she was no longer sleeping through the night and while she still feels the need to get up once a night sometimes we have managed to cut out the other 4 times she would wake up.

Lyla is still a happy happy baby though she can chat it up with just about anyone and will sing various songs when the mood strikes her. She also rolls all the time and is close to realizing she can go both ways. She LOVES playing with Bear and we are pretty sure they will be good buddies. Bear likes to lay next to her on the floor and Lyla reaches for him and talks it up with him. He was also able to get her first giggle. Stupid dog. Moose still wishes she would magically disappear but tolerates her nonetheless.

Jason is still waiting to hear from Rosemount. We had a somewhat promising voice mail left on his phone so we are still hopeful this week is the week.

We are being optimistic and packing, because if he does get this job he starts the 24th of August so we have to be ready!
