The 4th!

It was Oliver's first 4th of July so we made sure to get a pic of him in his patriotic onesie!  He seemed pretty unphased by the whole thing.

The 4th of July was so hot this year that we didn't do much!  We put the pool up but the water was so warm it didn't feel refreshing and we opted out of the parade and most anything outside so the kids had a pretty average day.  We did however get a photo shoot in since we we hadn't had one in a while.

The highlight was bringing Lyla to see the fireworks.  She loved them.  It helped that their were quite a few neighborhood ones going off to warm her up to them and then the big ones went off.  She was mesmerized and couldn't take her eyes off of them, until a puppy walked by that really didn't like the fireworks so much.  That became the topic of conversation, but overall it was a great night.  She stayed up way past her bedtime and did great!
